A past Vice President and board member of the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA), Bell was inducted into the NRCHA Hall of Merit in 2017. Under his leadership, Kalpowar Quarter Horses became the title sponsor of the NRCHA Celebration of Champions, reflecting his commitment to the sport. The operation is co-managed by their son, Matthew Bell, and NRCHA Million Dollar Rider Jake Gorrell. With Ellen’s grandfather, Roy Parks, also a former AQHA president and Hall of Fame inductee, the Bell family has played a pivotal role in shaping the reined cow horse and ranching industries.
