The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Western riding program offers young riders the chance to develop competitive skills without needing to own a horse or tack, making it an affordable entry into equestrian sports. Emphasizing teamwork and horsemanship, IEA Western classes involve performing reining patterns and maneuvers with no warm-up time, fostering seamless communication between rider and horse. The IEA also provides opportunities for scholarships, an online Hippology Academy, and a National Youth Board, supporting riders' growth in college and beyond.
